Washing Laundry In Cold Water
« on: March 26, 2017, 06:54:49 AM »
Keep reading that washing in cold does get clothes really clean. Sorry but I just don't buy it. Stains will not come out in cold water even if you do use cold water detergent.

I generally use the warm setting for clothes but for towels use cold.

What about you? Any good detergent recommendations?

I buy the cheapest detergent and use cold water...how dirty can my clothes get?

I live alone and don't do anything, lol.

I'm glad I live in modern times....I wouldn't have  survived the good old days, I'm a creature of comfort.  :cool wink:

I get a kick out of those people who drop their clothes off to be washed by the attendant at the laundromat.

Clean, nicely folded and all you do is pay for the service.

Hot water to clean and cold water to rinse.
I do a second rinse with Fleecey and I use
Tide to wash.

Hmmmm, I'm not that rich though.

One thing I don't do is dry my clothes in the dryer...only thing I put in the dryer are sheets, Pickles's blankets and towels.

I think the dryer, even if it doesn't shrink something just wears your clothes out faster.

I wash whites in hot water and everything else in warm. Unless the fabric calls for washing in cold water only.
