Marijuana- New Canadian Poposed Law

http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/marijuana-legal-bill-1.4069178 The Liberal government has tabled legislation to end the prohibition on pot.

Consumers can grow up to four plants at home or buy from a licensed retailer. Dried and fresh pot and cannabis oil will be available first, with edible products to become available later.

It's not something I will be growing in my garden,Been there, done that as a child of the 70's and now more interested in veggies, herbs than getting stoned and listening to Led Zepplin

What does bother me about this is that there is no 100% way of telling if someone is under the influence. I can see a backlog of DUI cases in the future

I have never taken it. I always new where to get marijuana from working at Universities over the years and the attending the odd social gathering. I never saw a sign of intelligence or loose morals exhibited. The participants became zombies. I prefer life and activity. Also I was horrified that anybody could partake of any street drug in whatever form. A beard a Socrates does not make.

I have a slight interest in growing and producing edibles. Also the strong anecdotal stories about how it helps with some physical ailments is interesting.

From my minor looking into the subject, there appears o be a lot of work for a marginal feeling of well being.
