'World's saddest dog' could be put down
« on: May 12, 2017, 08:54:16 AM »
A dog described as the "saddest in the world" could be put down after a second family returned her to the Toronto shelter they adopted her from a year ago.

Lana the Labrador-cross was given her nickname in 2015, when a photograph of her looking dejected in her kennel after being abandoned by her first family went viral.

It is very sad to see them put this dog down.. There are people out there that can help improve this dog's life. A dog is not meant for everyone, but it does take a special person to raise a special dog..

Hi I’m Lana!

Update: We are happy to report that Lana has found a foster home and a new training program. To clarify May 20th is Lana’s move date, NOT a euthanasia date. RDM does not give up on their dogs, we have had more difficult dogs in our program for longer  than Lana and have successfully placed them.

RDM would like to thank everyone for their concern and support and we will keep you updated.

Mine also, because I was ready to go to Toronto and pick him up.. I had a dog like him before I had Abby. Eddie made the best buddy because of the bond him and I had..He had a bad attitude, but no one bothered Jane or I..

I'm glad Luna got a home as well. It's a shame people do this to animals.

QM- give little Buddy a big hug for me.  :Smileheart:
